Working with our partners at Solar for Schools, our “1MW Solar for MK Schools” programme unlocks clean, affordable energy in Milton Keynes schools – helping to cut energy bills, teach young people about sustainability using real-world solar data, and reinvesting surplus funds back into our community.
We’re already in conversation with more than 30 local schools, and several are confirmed to join the programme in 2026 – putting us over 30% of the way to our 1MW goal.
To make this a reality, we plan to launch a community investment opportunity early next year so that local people can own and power the change.
